Looking at the lyrics and I still find this one to be very cool
"Did I fallow the fields that I should have left dead?"

It's cool because it got me to look up a new word: fallow
It means to plow a field during planting season but intentionally leave it unplanted, to help with the rotation of fields and yield better harvest the next season.

So I find it interesting to be thrown a farm fact in the song. But I interpret it as like digging up things that should have been left alone, even if the intention was to make things better in the future. Like talking things out with a partner who doesn't want to make things better and it becomes a toxic relationship, and wishing you'd have said nothing.

Just wanna say, I've called it from the beginning. Since Alphabet as a song title was teased then off the album I've always been the one spearheading the argument that Alphabet and Wasted Summer may have been one and the same. Especially since the stream when he spoke on the meanings of some of the songs and I correlated Wil's description of Alphabet to the themes from Wasted Summer.

So, I called it, I've been the biggest Alphabet/Wasted Summer truther from the beginning, and it makes me very proud to say I called it :)
