Flere konter ?

Nice to Genoa to Milano travel itinerary recommendations and tips

My sister and I are traveling to Nice, then Genoa, and then Milan at the start of July, and I was wondering if anyone has tips on what to do, places to eat, and reasonably priced but good hotels to recommend?
We are currently planning:
* 4 days in Nice
* 3 days in Genoa
* 2 days in Milan
From Nice we are considering day trips to Cannes, Èze, and Menton. Would you recommend those, or are there other places nearby we should prioritize instead?
We are also wondering how the train travel between the cities is. Is it easy/reliable to travel by train from Nice → Genoa → Milan, and should we book tickets in advance for early July?
Any tips, recommendations, or things to avoid would be really appreciated

How would you furnish this pitched roof space?

Hi! My partner and I recently bought a new apartment, and while we haven’t gotten the keys yet, I’m already trying to plan the layout and furniture.

I’m especially struggling with the second floor because of the pitched roof/slanted ceilings. This space will need to function as our main living room, so we need to fit a fairly large TV, sofa, and coffee table, and ideally I’d also like to squeeze in a desk/workspace somewhere if possible.

The photos are from the previous owners, so none of that furniture will stay. I’m feeling a bit stuck with how to best use the space and would really appreciate any layout ideas or inspiration!
