So i got my kyleena iud inserted on Monday and I had protected sex with my boyfriend earlier
After i had bad cramps so i checked my strings and i could feel them just fine
But the cramping got really bad and it started getting sore like it was on the day after i had it put in
But I just noticed that there is a bit of spotting blood and the discharge is kinda egg white and it smelled bloody
I stopped taking my birth control the day after getting my iud
So i’m not sure if it’s because I am still healing and got ahead of myself or if it’s dislodged but the cramping is medium right now and bearable
But I’m really paranoid now is there any possible explanations for this?

I have just come of the progesterone only pill after being on it for a year and a half to switch to the kyleena iud
But I am not going to take my pill today because I’m coming off it
But what are the possible side effects of me coming off the pill
Are there physical or mental or both
Because before the pill i had pmdd and then it went away once being on the pill which concerns me because i’m scared it gonna come back

I got my kyleena iud today and I have been told by the doctor that i can immediately stop taking the mini pill because I was taking it perfectly

But before that another doctor has said that I need to take it for 7 days

So i’m not sure what to do

I went to my appointment for my iud insertion and they couldn’t get my cervix open, they got the outer bit open but the inner bit wouldn’t budge and it ended up bending the equipment, i have been referred to get it done where they inject anaesthetic on the cervix and use metal tools but I can feel pain from it as it’s wearing off from the one they used earlier

But they couldn’t even get the smallest dilator in and I googled it like an idiot and it could be cervical stenosis** **which is something I am now worried about but i usually get my period too frequently and it bleeds too much but it’s 10 days late now so

But idk what it could be because i turned 20 a month ago and have never had children and I have been on the progesterone only pill since October 2024 so i also think it may be linked to the cervical mucus being thick due to the pill

Any ideas

So i have been on the mini pill since October 2024 because that’s when me and my boyfriend started getting active and I went on the progesterone only pill because I didn’t want my breasts to get bigger as they annoy me enough already and I don’t like the combined pill because when I tried it for heavy periods it was too confusing

I’m getting the kyleena coil on the 28th and I want to know how things might be when I have it and come off the progesterone only pill because I am mainly going on it because my periods are way too heavy and inconsistent and I still want to be protected from pregnancy because although me and my boyfriend use condoms i’m still paranoid and I have been taking pregnancy tests a lot in the past week to make sure am not pregnant before I get the coil

But what would be possible withdrawals and symptoms and will my pms come back as bad
Because before I was on the mini pill my pms made me super depressed to the point were I was considering yknow
