I’m Phil Houk, and I lead the Brokerage team here at SoFi.
I’ve spent the last 20 years working with teams to create world-class trading experiences, technology, and operational processes across Options, Equities, and Crypto. My career has traversed the entire trading landscape—from proprietary trading and clearing to retail-facing businesses. As a data-driven leader, I’m passionate about helping our members get their money right, and I’m focused on bringing institutional-grade precision to the SoFi app.
We know that while options can support your goals and help manage risk, getting started is often intimidating. That’s why we created the Strategy Builder to give you a clear, visual way to explore different approaches so you can compare strategies and understand how they work.
On May 15th we officially rolled out the Options Strategy Builder. We built this specifically to help you:
- Evaluate and build strategies: Visualize and execute covered calls and other income strategies.
- Access expanded education: Help our members explore and learn about different investing approaches.
