Renting a home with a softener. I’ve noticed recently that wster has been hard and that it takes multiple regen cycles for water to feel somewhat soft. There was a weekend I left and regenerated the night before and when I came back water was hard when I came back until I regenerated it again. Bur overall, if a regen goes well I only get 2-4 days of soft water. Why is this?
