How long does it take for UF to add your high school college credits to your degree audit?

Hi, I am an incoming freshman who just finished their preview a couple of weeks ago. I was looking to add COP3502C, but the class is locked to CS majors until August 3rd. I am waiting for that date, but I heard that UF might take a while to put in my credits for calculus 1 which is a pre-requisite for COP3502C. I am afraid I won't get a spot if the credits take too long to come into the system. How long did it take for most of you to get your credits as an incoming student? Should I email my advisor asking if it's possible to add the pre-requisite beforehand?

Undergraduate Studet Looking to Pursue Biostatistics - How much knowledge of biology do I need?

I'm soon taking an introduction to biology class in the fall and was wondering how much biology I need to know as a biostatistician? I'm a statistics major planning to double major in computer science and minor in public health to round out my skills, but how deep in biology do I need to go? I heard I don't need to know all too much, just understanding certain health context and more, but what type of classes could help me understand the health aspect? Especially if I'm interested in pharma or clinical stuff.

Study Tips / Class Info?

Does anyone have any tips for any of these classes and how they are structured?

THE2000 might get replaced with COP3502C after the class opens up for ALL majors, so that would be useful as well.

Also to note, I have MHF3202 with Vincent Vatter and STA4321 with James Hobert if that means anything. I also have PSY2012 online with Sheri Kerr. Thanks!

Switching from a minor into a major

Am I permitted to minor in a subject and then switch it out for a major?

I recently got accepted to UF as a freshman and plan to major in statistics over the fall. However, I am also planning to double major in computer science, but unfortunately cannot until spring of sophomore year (because of the 45 credit at UF requirement). I am afraid I will not be able to get the CS core major classes that I want due to not being a CS major, so I was wondering if I could do a CISE minor and switch it to a CS major later? Or rather than switching it, could I just drop my CISE minor and then pick up the CS major? Are there any repercussions in doing this? I have my preview coming up in July, but wanted to see if I could get any early answers.

Because of how my credits are (I'm coming in with an AA), I will be required to take my majors' core classes off the bat and want to take both CS and statistics core classes, but I won't have priority for the CS classes, considering it is overenrolled. I also do not want to wait to take the classes later on, because there are a ton of classes I want to take at UF to maximize my learning experience, along with a minor in public health which will add on more requirements. Is there anyone that has experience on this or knows anything about this? I appreciate any answer I can get.
