Anyone else feel more anxious after surviving a layoff than actual relief that it wasn't you?

My team went through a layoff a while back. I kept my job, and I expected to feel relief — instead I got this weird mix of guilt, and this constant background hum of "am I next." Nobody on the team really talks about it directly, it just kind of sits there.

I've been trying to figure out if this is just me, or if it's something more people who "survive" these rounds go through — not the people who got let go, the ones who stayed.

If any of this sounds familiar, I'd really like to hear about it in the comments. Not selling anything — just trying to understand if this is a real, common thing before I go build something around it.

If you're open to talking a bit more (15-20 min, over text, async, whenever works — no calls), feel free to DM me.
