Delhi material science vs Kanpur aerospace?

I keep hearing about how great it is to have good alumni on your campus but how often does it help you?

Like can you guys give some examples

Should I choose lower branch in bombay / delhi / madras Or should I go for cs /ece/ee in nit and lower iits.

Honestly , I am not crazy about cs at all but even if I take civil in top college I'll study cs side by side ( I mean it's pretty common)

I'll be honest, I am not crazy for coding or cs at all .

I do like maths ( atleast till now).

But still, given the market norms I'll definitely study some cs sidewise even if choose civil

I got 99.43 percentile ( 9k rank] in mains and now in advanced, I have got 140 marks, honestly I am expecting around 7k rank, also I have ews, what should I take
