Just bought my first new car, a 2026 HRV sport AWD in Nordic Forest. Listed for $31,795 and got them down to $29,700 with wheel locks and all weather mats included . $31,280 after taxes and fees in Massachusetts. No dealer add ons, and I was able to get my finance rate from 6.28% to 4.43% for 60 months.

They Offered me $4k for my 2011 Lexus RX350 with 146,000 miles. KBB said $5,700, so I got them up to $5k just to not deal with the head ache and potential risk of a private sale and lose out on the tax benefit.
