Got ghosted by High Purity Peptides after a MoonPay/Crypto payment. Anyone else? Plus, looking for advice on sourcing safely.

I’m making this post to share a recent sketchy experience with High Purity Peptides and to ask for some guidance on how to safely navigate the gray market moving forward.
A few days ago, I placed an order on their site. The checkout redirected me to complete the payment via crypto using MoonPay. The transaction went through successfully on my end, and MoonPay confirmed it. However, I didn't receive any automated order confirmation from the website itself.
I emailed their support right away to confirm they received the funds. They replied asking if the payment went through. I said yes, and they told me I would receive a tracking number within 3-4 days.
Since then, it's been radio silence. Those 4 days passed, and I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails over the last 48 hours with no response. To test if they were just ignoring me specifically, I even sent an inquiry from a completely different Gmail account acting as a potential new customer, and they haven't replied to that one either.
At this point, I’m leaning towards the fact that I might have been exit-scammed, or their customer service is non-existent. Has anyone else ordered from High Purity Peptides recently? Are they known to be selective scammers, or is this standard behavior for them?
Moving forward, I’d really appreciate some advice from the veterans here:
How do you actually vet high-quality, reliable vendors on the gray market?
What payment methods should I look for to protect myself if crypto is the only option on most sites?
Are there any green flags or verified independent testing practices (like recent third-party Janoshik HPLC reports) that I should strictly look out for before pulling the trigger next time?
