It feels like all the fun of capitalism is over. My parents and grandparents talk about the past and all the fun they had, and nowadays I'm sad that I can't experience any of it. It's like everything is a hollow shadow of its former self, and unlike the older generations, I'm not even old enough to be nostalgic about it. It feels like I was born in the middle of an unfinished update that made everything halfway unusable.

My dad talks about all the good times he had in 1990s Atlanta, like Freaknik and the Olympics, and my mom talks about living in 1990s New Orleans and Hawaii. Meanwhile, I live in DC, which is more populous, yet none of it feels nearly as fun. Both of my parents went to colleges they couldn't even dream of affording to send me to today without me spending the next decade in debt.

It gets even worse when I talk to my grandparents, who reminisce about when everything was cheap and you could rent a two-bedroom apartment on a waiter's salary. They talk about being able to get relatively high-paying jobs with only a year of college, which was basically just used as a way for people from rural areas to meet and marry someone who wasn't their cousin (though that didn't always work).

It's like being told everything is worse now, but you haven't been alive long enough to remember when it was better. It's been crap for as long as you've been alive.

So I was looking at r/YAPms today, and they were complaining about DAC for having the right position that the American empire is evil and should be dismantled. They were saying that Democrats should moderate their positions to gain widespread support. I am laughing at this because, with the current political trajectory, it's gonna be cranks all the way down, and they can't do shit to stop it.

One of the few good things about the DNC so thoroughly shitting the bed this past decade is that they can't use their media machine to install establishment picks continuously in local elections without being forced to dump insane amounts of money. I believe that, with the current trajectory, the future of the Democrats and Republicans is gonna be cranks. People who talk in the language of the average American, being conspiratorial people who don't shy away from the fact that they believe their political opponents deserve a prison sentence.

I fully believe that the 2048 election cycle will be Populist Social Democrat vs. American Fascist of some sort, with both sides refusing to respect any decorum, and it will be glorious.

Now I know I must provide actual analysis instead of ramblings, so I will now.

In 2008, Sarah Palin was the Republican VP pick, and she was generally regarded as a crank who believed Obama was a Muslim and born in Kenya, and everybody lambasted this. Little did the establishment know this was the future of American politics.

The Republicans at this point are almost fully staffed by cranks. Trump supporters are cranks, the right-wing Groypers are cranks, and the only groups that aren't cranks and are still Republican are the rich businessmen who have run the party since the failure of Reconstruction and Zionists.

I fully foresee the Democrats being forced to follow suit or the party imploding like the Whigs. The moderates in the DNC are all beginning to die off, and with the exception of their installed successors, who need to have millions pumped into their campaigns every 2 to 6 years to stand any chance of winning elections, they aren't gonna be able to stop the crank takeover of their party. Which is why Zionists like Brad Lander have sought to ally with them in order to begin attempting to moderate them because they're smart enough to know they're the future of the party.

As it turns out, American politics is effectively entertainment, and no one likes to watch a wrestler with no personality fight Roman Reigns.

So I fully see the neoliberal faction of the Democrats using these next elections as their last hurrah to attempt to keep a lid on all the cranks in their party before eventually being forced to give power to the cranks, as the Republicans were, or fully committing to imploding their party before giving up the reins they have held since the New Deal Democrats all died off.

But what will this look like, you might say? Well, I say to you, bubba, we will finally have candidates who run with actual personality and actually believe in something other than their power. A lot of districts are won by cranks with fun personalities. Why would the average American want to vote for a no-personality-having, boot-humping carpetbagger when you can vote for a person with zero filter who tells it like it is and shits on the people you hate?

Why would anyone want to have respect for a bunch of hyenas who can dish it out but can't take it and actively want to make deals with those who make it clear they despise you and everything you stand for?

Therefore, I'm calling it here. Someone like Maureen Gallindo, who's a crank, is left-wing, has no filter, and openly calls for groups like the Zionists to be thrown in prison, will be president come 2048, and it will be the most glorious thing we will ever see.

I think the reign of politicians with no personality and zero connection to the average American, who act like the aliens from V, is coming to an end.
