Plaster damage - lintel installation

Hello, I am having lintels replaced over my front door and the work has damaged the interior plaster. My question to the group is, would it be reasonable to knock the repair costs off the bill for this level of damage?

Building work advice

Hi!

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but here goes: we recently bought a house that needs steel lintels putting in over the front door, back door and front living room window. We recently had a quote of £2,100 to have it done including parts, labour and VAT and the builder seems to have a good rep online.

What I wanted to ask this group was, does anyone have experience of doing similar and if so, does that quote sound reasonable? This is our first home and first experience of having work done so any advice would be super appreciated.

Thanks!
