Please excuse me for the low res photos and cloudy water. The fish were pretty excited for a long needed trim and water change. 82 gallon. African banded barbs, honey gourami, sparkling gourami, beckfords pencilfish, Congo tetra, and a small troop of cuckoo catfish. Last pictures are the super long tank full of microfish and shrimp.
These fish are AWESOME! I must say the African Banded Barb has to be THE MOST SLEPT ON FISH EVER! They are very peaceful, very personable, and very colorful. They also have an affinity for eating hair algae, they go crazy for it. I was a bit worried about putting them in a relatively young tank as I was warned they are a bit sensitive, however they have THRIVED. 10/10 fish in my book.
The very large tank. There are some real rare gems occupying this new tank. Excited to see how it fills out.
Newly elected Henry County Attorney Becky Wilson went on a TIRADE, weaponizing her public office against a former temporary county attorney in a political bid. In her unhinged rant she possibly gave a criminal an easy route to the Iowa supreme court and a full dismissal on grounds of bias. Her rant could cost Henry County MILLIONS of dollars. The former temporary county attorney's reply is linked here ---> https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1EcRFcRj9U/
They had a list of registered Dems and denied them at the door. Crooked Henry county strikes again. Happened in Mt. Pleasant. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1CqDCHoeA2/
Ignore the old BioWheel. This is also rage bait. Anyone else get the smiles during a setup? Even after decades of keeping tanks this stuff happens.
