Got them a Costco and Walmart respectively my dad broke into the box but am not mad. He paid for it and I paid for the Halloween one for myself.

This can potentially be seen as an update to my last post but I digress.

I just finished my 4th skien of yarn and I want to start on the fifth but am having issues with the edges curling up on itself.

I’ve already switched hook sizes going from 5mm for the first 2 skeins to a 6mm for the last 2 skeins.

I was switching between an aluminum hook and a clover Amour hook for the 6mm hook as I had weak endurance with the aluminum hook so am wondering if that’s causing the curling.

Am wanting to switch to a 8mm hook for the final 2 skeins in hopes it will prevent the curling.

The pattern am following calls for the points to have 3-DC, 2-CH then 3-DC in the same hole before moving on.

Update:

ok I realized my mistakes now and switching hook sizes started in the first place.

I think what am going to do is frog and recake the skeins then step back from this project to give myself a break.
