Got tired of hand-painting vertex shadows so I made a plugin that does it for me

Turns out clicking one button to trace a ray from every vertex toward every light in your scene and write the result to vertex colors is way faster than painting lights and shadows by hand for the 400th time 😅

It does AO too! Corners get dark, undersides get dark, all the good stuff. One button, whole level, done.

Works with static meshes, instanced meshes (foliage!), and landscapes. You can assign lights to separate channels and toggle them at runtime too so stuff like flickering torches and day/night actually works without rebaking anything 😊
