Why do people need to remove the seeds from the dried guajillo chillies? What happens if i put the seeds in? And what if you eat it by itself?

It comes to my attenion that chefs remove the seeds from the dried guajillo chillies and it got me confused why do they do it and what would be the difference of removing the seeds and just putting the whole thing. And has someone eaten a dried guajillo chilli before?
