This will be my first 4th of July in Rockford. I know there’s a big parade that happens during the day, but are there any fireworks? If so, where should I go to see them?

I moved to Rockford close to a year ago and haven’t had much time to get out and meet people.

Where’s some good places to go and meet people if you’re in your early 30?
