fewer/more brazilian sessions?
I’m trying to decide whether to get 6 Brazilian laser hair removal sessions or a membership that includes about 15 sessions plus free annual touch-ups for life.
The price difference isn’t a huge factor because the cost per session is basically the same. It’s more about whether I want to make the larger upfront investment and how much hair reduction I actually want. If I choose the 15-session package, I’ll be committed to all 15 because of the finances.
For context, I did laser on my underarms years ago, and after 6 sessions the hair growth decreased a lot.
My concern is whether I’d regret doing the full 15 sessions, which would likely result in near-complete hair removal. I’ve heard some people mention things like increased sweating or chafing, and I’m curious if there are any other less-discussed downsides.
I’m also wondering whether keeping a landing strip serves any practical purpose or if it’s purely a style preference.
The alternative is doing just 6 sessions, which would probably reduce the hair significantly. But I worry that I’ll end up in an awkward middle ground where the hair is thinner and patchier, yet I still need to shave occasionally and deal with ingrown hair.
For those who’ve had Brazilian laser, do you regret removing everything, or has the convenience been worth it? If you only did a few sessions, were you happy with the amount of reduction?
