Students and staff, are you aware there are like 25 Flock cameras on your campus?

I just moved to the area and wanted to see where to avoid these big brother style mass servailence cameras just to see all of them around me seem to be on or facing Tufts Campus! This link should take you right to it. I just thought you should all be aware. These things are obviously not looking for license plates. I think at least 1 is inside of the buildings! Stay safe, everyone... and maybe wear masks on campus?

3rd party tools vs in-game tools

It's not just that Elite has virtually no tools to determine the best course of action. It's that tools within Elite are **less** than useless.

I was stacking cargo missions for fed rank grinding, and I decided to take the highest price item to fill the empty space and turn a profit. So, I chose to use the market comparison mechanic in-game. Chose the station I would be returning to for the mission, looked for the highest price commodity, filled up on it, and flew back.

The commodity was battle weapons. You know what's illegal in that station? Battle weapons. Do you know what that station doesn't have? A black market to sell illegal goods.... *Where* the was the game pulling this number is beyond me. Now I'm sitting in a station with almost 1000 tons of illegal weapons without a buyer of any kind thinking about how useless the tools Fdev has given us truly are. The worst part is, with my very limited knowledge of coding, this seems like such a simple fix for something that has probably been in the game for years, and would probably have been caught any of the devs actually played the game.

Why don't they put effort in and integrate some of the 3rd party tools the community has come up with over the years? Inara doesn't even list this station as a place you can sell these weapons, and they operate on info straight from the game. So obviously, it's a mistake. I dont even know what the point of this post is beyond complaining, but do you think Fdev will lock-in on quality life improvements after all these incoming features are added?

Why in the hell does scanning someone with a bounty immediately make **me** the enemy of the entire settlement and result in bounties against me when I fight back? Who designed this nightmare system? This didn't used to happen. I used to scan people, kill them, collect the bounty (you should probably add a way to capture them alive for more gameplay variety - hint hint, Fdev) and be on my way without anyone pestering me about it the rest of my visit. But I've scanned 3 criminals at 3 different settlements recently, and all 3 times, I'm immediately the target.

Is this a known bug? Is crime and punishment the next system to get an overhaul (please!)? Find out next time on dragon ball Z!
