Question about Poker Squares solitaire
In implementing Poker Squares solitaire in Solitaire Master, I've consulted various sources and found that the most popular scoring system is the American one:
Royal flush: 100
Straight flush: 75
Four of a kind: 50
Full house: 25
Flush: 20
Straight: 15
Three of a kind: 10
Two pairs: 5
One pair: 2
And although there are several versions, it seems the most common is the one that considers the player to win the game when they reach 200 points.
Don't you think that's a really difficult goal to achieve?
I've seen versions that allow discarding 4 cards, or even "open" versions where, once all the cards are placed, they can be rearranged, that is, swapped. This last version would be equivalent to dealing all the cards at the beginning and then rearranging them, or using multiple undos to optimally place the cards once all the cards to be dealt are known.
Which do you consider the best option, and which one should I implement?
Thanks.
