What an absolute lad
Queued into a random 3v3 and got matched with this guy and his friend.
We absolutely dominated every PvP fight we ran into and, instead of extracting, decided to go for the boss. I told them I was pretty low on pots, but they went through the portal anyway. Figured fuck it, we've come this far, so I followed them in with like 5-6 pots left.
Unsurprisingly, I died. 😂
Didn't really care though. The run had already been a blast and I was more than happy with it.
Then I logged in later and found this in my mailbox.
With how insanely toxic online games can be, running into genuinely nice people like this just hits different. After dealing with work bullshit all day, I usually get maybe an hour or two to play and switch my brain off, and somehow this little gesture felt better than winning another match.
So Bagaboom, wherever you are or if you somehow see this:
You are an absolute lad. People like you are what keep online games fun.
