I’m 22M just moved to Austin this past week from Louisiana and im looking for some friends my age to hang out with. Not much of a bar person but im into sports (don’t watch soccer tho), video games, anime, anything tech related and I love to cook and just have a good time. If you’re interested in talking just dm me. Very boring not having no one to talk to and cold approaching just awkward. Also any recommendations on good food out here is greatly appreciated.

So, i’m relocating from Louisiana for a job offer in the austin texas area so im just wondering what would be some safer areas and apartment complexes for a young black couple. In terms of budget i’ll be making $70,000 so ideally would like to remain under 1800 for a one or two bedroom. Id like to be close to stores and activities but it doesn’t have to be directly in the city center let’s say 10-20 min drive away. Any recommendations on activities or things to do in the area would be appreciated. Im 22 my gf 20 if that helps.
