Are we breaking up?
This is rapidly turning into the toxic relationship we never asked for🤷🏻♀️🥴
Ive been suspecting for a while that Coach has been grooming their consumers in an attempt to re-define the brand and ultimately make more 💰💰💰 Coach WAS known as “great quality at a more affordable price point” about 25 years ago. CEO said it pretty clearly in that recent interview- they dont want to be that anymore. They dont want to be known as your “mother’s brand,” except a lot of us are now the “mothers” he’s actually referring to 🫠 even if you’re not a mother, if you’re in the age bracket, you’re in the group he’s talking about 🫣
To be fair, the CEO interview was pretty straightforward IMO about the direction the company is going in, and recent actions CONFIRM everything he said. I’m curious, what are your thoughts? Where do you stand with the brand going forward? Do you feel like the quality is still there, and (despite price jumps and wild antics), it’s still more affordable than a lot of other brands, so stay with it?
