WIBTA for Not Giving Back a PO Box a Small Business had for 10 Years?
I (21M) recently rented a PO Box for my business because I wanted a mailing address that wasn’t my home address. Today, I found a note in my box from someone (UNK) saying that they had this exact box for 10 years and used it for their business and that it was "really important."
In the note, they said they missed the renewal deadline, so the box became available (hence how I was able to legitimately rent it.) They asked if I’d be willing to switch boxes with them so they can get their old one back. The problem is, I’ve already spent hundreds of dollars on business cards, envelopes, and other business materials with this PO Box number printed on them. Switching would mean having to replace all of that.
At the same time, I feel bad for the guy. He had the box for 10 years, and I can understand why he’d want it back.
WIBTA if I refuse to switch and keep the PO Box?
