I had a dream with these flags

The dream was about the Empire (blue flag) attacking an island where people lived (flag with hands), but these people were somehow able to drive the Empire off the island (I dont really remember how)

Kretamir Direction System

  1. Direction is added as a suffix to the word.
  2. Some suffixes change based on the last vowel or consonant of the word.
  3. It is expressed through the following endings:

Movement toward an object:
-nra / -ra

I am going to the car – Kere fəras foltfort’nra
You are going to her – Ohun fəras nanre‘ra

Movement away from an object:
-nru / -ru

We came from the city – Ehen pa əhələs tolrina'ru
He walks from that forest – Nun pəlok et tənpol‘nru

Movement into/to a destination:
-ni

I am going to the village – Кere fəras sitafa‘ni
Dad is going to city – Appa fəras tolrina'ni

  1. The plural suffix changes depending on the last vowel or the first occurrence of ə/u in the noun.
  2. The root of the noun remains unchanged.
  3. There are three primary suffixes.

If the noun ends with a vowel:

If it ends with i or ı → simply -m

If it ends with any other vowel (a, e, ə, o, u) → -im

  • əfnə – əfnəim – house – houses
  • piśmi – piśmim – cat – cats
  • foştara – foştaraim – star – stars

If the noun contains ə or u (and does not end with a vowel):

Look at which of these two letters appears first in the word:

If ə appears before u-əm

If u appears before ə-um

  • təpən – təpənəm – tree – trees
  • atur – aturum – horse – horses
  • kuvar – kuvarum – dog – dogs
  • şepur – şepurum – sheep – sheep (plr.)

In all other cases:

-om

  • almar – almarom – apple – apples
  • noldom – noldomom – book – books
  • folfort – folfortom – car – cars

I tried to translate using this template.

In the sentence "Ohun lo žən fəras kapžuna'nra lodar", you can see a couple of grammar for Kretamir.

  1. "žən" means "will" but because the original sentence is about future task, we use particle before the word "lo" which indicates Future Tense of sentence
  2. "-nra" means "to" (movement toward an object/destination) and is added as a suffix to the word

Kretamir Language

Kretamir is a constructed language I've been working on since March 2026.

The language has a melodic and rather soft phonetic profile. It features eight vowels: a, e, ə, i, o, u, ı [ɯ], and ɑ. Among the consonants, the most characteristic are ś [ɕ], ş [ʃ], ž [ʒ], [dʒ], and x [χ]. The overall sound is smooth thanks to the frequent use of the schwa(ə) and palatal sounds.

Grammar highlights:

  • Subject – Verb – Object (SVO) word order
  • Verbs have a single invariant form and do not conjugate for person or number
  • Kretamiric font with its own calligraphic style (On the image)
  • System of compound words and derivational suffixes

Basic examples:

  • žu – and
  • əfnə – house
  • zumar – sleep
  • əfnəžumar – bedroom
  • śərik – ground
  • əfnəžurik – floor

Here some basic words:

  1. Kere – I/Me
  2. Ohun – You
  3. Toll' – Water
  4. Urk– To want
  5. Mom– Anna
  6. Dad– Appa
  7. Mother– Annafika
  8. Father – Appafika

I'm still working on the language. Link for the language on Lingocon:
