How was your transition from Grad school to full time work

I recently graduated from my school and have been working at a design firm for over a month now and it feels so different from what it did in school. The deadlines are tight sure, but I also get to go home and relax. But at the same time I want to keep working and get to the level of my senior colleagues, it feels weird. Also the fact that there are no semesters anymore where a bad course just gets over and you forget about it, I know I chose this life but only now is it sinking in for me that this is what it's gonna be for the rest of my life. How did you guys cope with this, was your transition positive or otherwise?

Thanks!

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here knows how USPCC decides which designs to go with and which ones to scrap? I feel some of them are so good and some are absolute stinkers. Makes me wonder how often they release decks and how many design ideas they come up with and how frequently. Cause they still seem to be printing new designs- maybe lesser than the old days but I guess something's better than nothing.

Thanks!

Hi, as the title says, I just moved to the US and have found a place to stay in CA. After reading the leasing agreement with my leasing company, I'm kinda paranoid about any changes I make to the house and thought of posting on here to seek some help.

I want to decorate my bedroom walls with floating shelves and almost all the shelves I see are screw-on ones, there's a smaller minority of adhesive ones which I think would be safer as they hopefully won't damage the walls (I have used 3M adhesive hooks before and that's the only reference I have, I maybe wrong).

But yeah, that sums it up I want some advice on what I should do, can I use screws to wall mount shelves and repair them later? I've never been in a house made with drywall so I'm a bit iffy. Before posting on here, I looked up repairing holes in drywall with some putty and primer+paint but how am I supposed to get the exact shade of white paint for my bedroom (you can clearly see how the rental agreement has affected me)

I hope you guys can help me out with this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
