Hi all! I’m visiting Korea for 2 weeks this fall and am trying to really maximize and prioritize what we do. We’re planning on going to Seoul, Gyeongju, Busan, and Jeju (pending planning of course). Are there any sites or activities that we must see or do? We’re trying to see the culture of different areas while also seeing some of the touristy things but it’s a difficult balance. So far the only things on our “must do” list is dressing in Hanbok and going into a palace and going to the seafood markets in Busan. Any recommendations and advice is appreciated! TIA!

I just finished this and am obsessed and other people should be too!

This is such a good story with so many of the best tropes (imo). We have >!Shane and Ilya on the same team (eventually), supportive Boston Raiders, fuck the Montreal Metros, Shane being OBSESSED with Ilya, Shane being Shane MF Hollander, and Ilya getting the family he wants and deserves.!<

This is so well written and is both serious and cracky. I love it!

I was thinking about Shane’s hockey IQ and started thinking about him as an announcer/commentator. He retires or something along those lines and is asked to comment on games and he takes the opportunity to be brutally honest about players, teams, and their abilities. I had a mental image of him seeing poor playmaking and just ripping the team to shreds with a media smile while everyone else is baffled by the bitchiness and I had to come here to see if someone would write it. TIA!

I remember reading a fic (not sure if completed or not) and enjoying it but I can’t find it and the only thing I can explicitly remember is that Shane meets up with Scott at the Kingfisher to talk to him and meet Kip (Shane isn’t out except maybe to the Metros/Voyagers). When they get introduced, Kip makes a kind of snarky comment about the fight (obviously thinking it’s Shane’s fault (and maybe that he’s homophobic?)). But then Shane says he thought Scott was being homophobic to him and that’s how Scott finds out Shane and Ilya are dating. Sorry I can’t remember anything else, it was months ago and like 2am when I read it
