Panicking, Tore acl again and they want to do a patella tendon graft

Edit 2 : thank you so much for the replies, it comforted me a lot and I think next week I'll discuss further with him and what we are gonna do, im a bit more open to the possibility now. My first surgeon was out of his mind scary me like this as a teen !!

I'm crying in the hospital right now, I can't belive it, I didn't even feel it and I was able to stay very active when my knee popped out in February. I went to 4 physio and they all said my knee looks clear, but then the MRI "suspects a tear in the graft", the orthopedic did a test to my knee idk what but now it hurts, I felt it in my quad and my ankle. He said it's for sure tore and he's gonna use the patella tendon.

I said I don't want that, when they took my quad tendon it made me weak, the first surgeon that saw me as a kid say the patella is not a good idea because I can't never go on my knees again, the hamstring is a bad idea, and taking it from the quad of the other side will make me weak. I asked if I can have an allograft like my cousin, he said no they always tear again and they don't do it to young people, which I told him it's not true, me and my cousin got injured at the same time, he went to Montreal got a allograft at 16, I went to Ottawa had the quad graft. He almost didn't believe me and I told him it's not fair that my cousin is still able to do everything but not me.

I want to do sports, he said the patella operation won't limit me but I don't belive it, I have severe hypermobility in that leg especially the tibia and now you want to take a part of the tendon that is helping my tibia to stay in place ??? My hypermobile leg ?? He was in a rush and didnt let me speak

I'm crying, I want to do ballet, I want to do Crossfit, I want to do aerials. Some teams reaches out to me, they want me for their comp team. The orthopedist said I'm gonna need 2 operations, I left crying I don't believe this and I feel like I saw too many horrors stories on reddit with the patella graft tendon, I think I rather not be operated at all if it's really broken.

We are many thinking the MRI is wrong because I'm very fonctional, I'm just a bit limited which is normal after a heavy knee subluxation, and some moves I didn't do yet because mentally I'm afraid .

Can anyone help me ?? Am I in the wrong ?? I'm in Canada so asking for a second opinion is very hard. I'm torn appart. Any success stories ??

Edit : grammar
