I am excited to see the up coming changes at NAU. Hopefully they are improvements for the better. I wanna wish everyone a happy, fun, safe academic year.

Maybe I just haven’t found the right place yet, but one thing that annoys me about NAU is the lack of good cubicle-style study spaces with decent desktop computers.
I’m talking about an actual individual workstation where you have walls/dividers around you, a decent computer, some desk space, and you can just sit down and work without constantly seeing everyone walking around you.
Cline Library has computers and plenty of places to sit, but a lot of the computer areas feel really open. Sometimes I just want to put my headphones on, have a little privacy, and lock in for a few hours without having to bring my own laptop and hunt down a quiet corner.
I’ve been at other colleges where the library had rows of individual computer cubicles, and I honestly don’t understand why NAU doesn’t seem to have more of that. For a university this size, it seems like such a basic study setup.
And I don’t mean reserving an entire study room just for one person. I just want a damn cubicle with a good computer lol.
Am I missing somewhere on campus that actually has this?
The way NAU portrays itself on social media is probably why they have a reduction in attendance... the reality of being on campus vs the fantasy is tremendaously inaccurate...
I signed up for a few classes for tbe summer but canvas hasnt posted them? Im confused... its my first time with summer classes at NAU.
