Finally figured out why my camera wouldn’t work!

This is for Lymow. I got my replacement yesterday and couldn’t get the camera to work. The likely hood of two units having the same defect being unlikely for this instance anyways… I went into full troubleshooting mode. Took advantage of having two lymows at once to confirm my findings.

Camera Connectivity Issue Report — CGNAT

After extensive troubleshooting across two units, two accounts, two devices (iOS and Android), WiFi and cellular, we have identified what appears to be a compatibility issue with CGNAT (Carrier Grade NAT) networks.
Observed behavior:
Camera fails to connect on WiFi when the router’s WAN IP is in the 100.64.x.x range (CGNAT)

Camera connects successfully when the mower uses its own 4G SIM

Port 10022 opens intermittently on the mower but the app cannot establish a camera connection on WiFi

Switching the mower from 4G to WiFi kills the camera connection

Switching back to 4G does not restore the connection — a full mower restart is required

There is no automatic session recovery when switching between networks

How to check if you are affected: Check your router’s WAN IP address. If it begins with 100.64, you are behind CGNAT and this may be why your camera doesn’t work.
CGNAT is extremely common with regional and rural ISPs. This issue likely affects a significant portion of your user base.
Additional confirmation: Tested on two separate Lymow One Plus units — both exhibit identical camera behavior. Camera works on mower’s own 4G SIM, fails on WiFi behind CGNAT on both units. This confirms the issue is not hardware specific.

Weeds? No thanks. Slamming into a car? YES PLEASE!

It is so timid around tall grass or weeds but not a shred of shyness dry humping my vehicles.
