I'm curious. How often do vatsim controllers get real atc jobs?

I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask this, and I'm sure I won't be the last.

Also, if you got a job in atc, do you think vatsim helped you with getting it/going through the training? Because in my eyes, it helps with developing good spacial awareness, and quick thinking.

Aircraft blinking in and out in euroscope

I'm wanting to become a controller at some point, and i installed EuroScope to have a go at the software. When i installed it and went through the process of loading up Edinburgh airport, i noticed the aircraft's weren't showing the blue trail that they should, and instead just got rid of the typical image. I show my general and display settings in the video. If anyone can help with this, i would very much appreciate it.

Nvidia drivers issue.

Dear Fedora Community,

I have had to completely reinstall fedora about 3 times for various issues, but this one is the main problem that doesn't seem to be fixing.

I installed fedora workstation, and after setting things up (WiFi, display settings, mouse acceleration disabling) I did the updates. I did this through the terminal instead of the ui because I felt like it, and then installed the nvidia driver option (the only one. The other was an Intel graphics one that was already installed) inside of the app manger. After installing it, the PC starts becoming really slow, and apps like Firefox don't even open anymore. So i do as anybody would do in that situation and restart my pc, assuming it just needed a restart to get everything working again. Turns out that's a terrible idea, because after selecting fedora in grub, my screen goes black, and nothing appears (maybe something does appear for a split second, but i always seem to miss it and it appears in the corner of my eye). So, instead of going onto the decryption screen, nothing appears. I tried typing in the decryption password once, but either I typed it in wrong (which i doubt becsuse I put a lot of focus into it) or it didn't do anything/didn't show it because the graphics broke.

I have installed Linux on my machine before, first was mint, second was arch (switched off of it because of recent events), and both worked with nvidia drivers. If anyone has any clue as to why it's not working, or if it's just a "nvidia for linux is bad" kind of thing, let me know.

Thank you in advance,

Soopy
