What the hell, Pitchfork?

When they are right, they are so right. And when they are wrong, they are SO wrong.

Question regarding Trooper caps

After having my first Trooper original months ago, and my first IPA flavoured Trooper (cause had to try cause Somewhere In Time Eddie. Wasted Years got me hooked into the band and rest is history. Somewhere In Time is also one of my favourite metal albums of all time) today at my usual metal bar I hang out at to have some good food and hear some great metal. (Definitely need to hear Rime of the Ancient Mariner at the bar on my next run. Planning to bring some friends there too)

I decided get some Trooper beers home since the bar is literally the only place in my country where Trooper beers are being sold. But then I noticed this, the cap is just a standard badass Eddie artwork but, not the special type of cap where various versions of Eddie artworks from singles and albums. (I was hoping I got the Purgatory or Aces High cap personally. Of course the The Number of The Beast single or Run To The Hills artwork cap would be a close second since it's always a sight to see Eddie beating the shit out of the beast with a number).

Which kind of bummed me out and I went, what's going on here? I don't know if it's a continent thing or different release sort of thing for different countries or a limited edition for those special Eddie over the years cap. Hope someone could shed some light about this. Thanks.

Question about Castle Records self titled CD

Shortly after building my physical album collection of various metal bands which obviously include the Irons, I had been searching for the first album in CD. Came across this overseas and decided to buy despite it having a chance that it could be bootleg. And Discogs was not working when I needed to validate whether it's legit since the logged Castle releases on discogs shows a different jewel case (not the Bulgaria bootleg). My fears were washed away as I checked the disc's matrix code and they were indeed legit, down to same font as the logged Castle releases on Discogs.

However there were couple of head scratching moments when I was examining the back. For instance, the IFPI mould on the plastic (not the ring) states a different number from the logged releases. For mine it says IFPI 2D3E which is not clearly seen at the last picture so it's why I'm writing it down. But other than that, everything else matches to the logged releases.

Then my next question would be the Jewel case and cover itself, is this original? Or it's reprinted by someone else after the original jewel and cover is destroyed? I ask that because the back cover's front (which the front of the back cover features the Running Free single artwork and Iron Maiden logo) is just plain white. You can tell from the little circular holder in the middle that holds the disc. Once again different from logged Castle releases.

Therefore, I know there's a bit of a story to my legitimate Castle Records copy of Iron Maiden. I just want to know what it could possibly be that led it here or it's an earlier unlogged Castle release that has yet to be logged on Discogs. Thanks and Up The Irons!
