Making our roads safer for kids should not be a difficult thing to do.

The State through Assembly Bill 382 is allowing local agencies to reduce speed limits around school zones to as low as 15 Miles an hour. In addition instead of waiting till Jan 1, 2031 the law also allows local agencies to enact this sooner.

It is something Campbell can do now to address the concerns of it's citizens. I don't know about the other candidates but I have had a earful from residents around traffic safety in neighborhoods and around schools.

So let the other candidates and council members know your thoughts.

While distributing door hangers for my campaign this weekend, I walked by one of the abandoned properties, the front yard was littered with trash. I continued on my path thinking that I would report it to the city on Monday. As I was wrapping up my canvassing down Virginia Ave, I saw someone in a yellow vest down the street, Intrigued, I drove around and stopped to talk.

I asked the gentleman if I could take a picture of him and he said yes, we go to talking and he said he got tired seeing the trash and decided to do something about it. We talked about how I had just walked by earlier and the yard had trash strewn all over it and wondered how the Tony's pizza box and other trash got there. I asked him if he was working for the city, he said no. He continued on to tell me that he does this cleanup frequently. "I work from home, so when I take my 15 min break, I walk around and pickup trash". He also said that most of what was in that bag was from just that yard. We were both puzzled as to where the trash came from, and who would do something like that. Look closer and you can see the Tony's pizza box in that bag.

This is a great example of citizenship and doing something to change things within your sphere of influence. Just a small little action from one individual, but imagine what we could do together if we all chose to change things within our spheres of influence.

Hi All,

I have been meaning to get on here to introduce myself, but other obligations got in the way.
With a day job coding for medical devices, a volunteer job as a scout leader and now transitioning into the campaign season and trying to manage all electronic outlets. I don't do X, I don't tiktok.

So here I am and my thoughts on what I as a council member would spell out for Campbell in the banner. With examples of what I mean about Caring, Accountable etc. on my platform page.

I got lucky and am running unopposed, the other person who had filed an intent to run for this position in April, chose not to file nominations papers. I hope I can live up to the expectations of the constituents and even exceed them when everything is finally said and done.

I hope to knock on doors and bring my coffee with a candidate to your door step/street. Propose a time in the evenings or on weekends and I will be there to chat with you. You bring your Coffee Mug and i will bring the Kureig.
