Actors and confidentialily.

Do we think the actors have to agree to keep important storylines confidential even from their closest family? Tonight’s intrigue over Kit’s phone calls got me thinking. I read an interview with Jacob Roberts (Kit) who said his mum is a huge Corrie fan and always has been. If I was her, I would be ringing him up demanding to know what those phone calls are about. I wonder if he is allowed to tell her?!

Complete overreaction by Todd - spoiler alert.

Really odd scene today. Kit is winding up Gary and Gary is biting but in a non shouty, non confrontational way. Todd comes along and goes mad telling them both to stop and that people are watching and will get their phones out to film. It’s really weird…no-one is watching and if they did, all they would see is two people (one ridiculously tall) having a conversation. I wonder if the actors sometimes are as bemused as the viewers by the writing.

Kit and Sarah today (spoiler alert)

I am so confused by today’s episode. There is no mention from Kit to Sarah about the accusation that she is having an affair with Gary. I assumed we would get him grilling her or at least asking the question if there is any truth in it.

Lisa & Kit - what do you see..

I am sure I will get some hate for saying this by the die hard Lisa fans and Kit haters but I am interested in how different some people see the same conversation.

When Lisa tell Kit “to put the kettle on” (as in today’s episode) and he looks ever so slightly miffed but not actually that bothered, I see two colleagues who generally get on fairly well (they even had a friendly drink together in the Rovers this week) although they sometime rub each up the wrong way, especially since Kit can be quite arrogant/petulant on occasions. Lisa can also be rude…Kit haters gladly forget the time he was trying to warn her about BS and he told him to leave it…”there’s a good lad”. However, generally I think they get on ok and her telling him to put the kettle on was just a bit of friendly banter.

Others see it completely differently and it ranges from Lisa “putting Kit in his place” to others claiming Lisa “hates” men, Kit in particular.

Anyhow, it will be interesting what other people see..
