Behold my mighty Bell pepper harvest!
Had no coin to compare the size, but a rough estimate of 2.7 cm in length (including stem) and 2.1 cm in breadth. Good enough for family dinner. I guess.

I bought a secondhand Nikon Coolpix P950 about a month ago for my birding hobby, and even though I already knew about its insane optical zoom, I am still amazed by what this camera can do.
I am still a complete novice at both birding and photography and these photos are unedited, so apologies for the quality. The shots aren’t always razor-sharp, especially at extreme zoom but under good light this camera can produce some really satisfying results.
Sharing a few of my favourite shots from the past month.
Back in December, I captured this Vande Bharat + Vistadome moment at Howrah and shared it here.
Today, after 4 months, I somehow ran into the exact same trains together again. Felt oddly nostalgic seeing the same scene repeat itself in the middle of the usual station chaos.
Had to take the shot again, along with other angles

I was surfing through YT and found this piece. Scientists at the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, India, just unearthed fish fossils in the Moand area near Dehradun (in the Himalayan foothills) dating back nearly 4.5 million years. They successfully identified these ancient freshwater gouramis using fossilized ear stones known as otoliths. According to the researchers, this is the very first freshwater gourami fossil record discovered in India.
