Not a lot here, but it finally opened last Friday, it seems. Was just at Miraval Berkshires and absolutely adored while I've heard mixed reviews of Arizona as of late. Very curious to see how (and how much) the brand scales given how key talent is part of the equation.
I've had a terrible time getting follow up from them regarding even minor extra details/pricing/etc. Sometimes, it's taken three months of follow-up, and I do a decent business with cruise bookings.
Anyone else having a hard time with them? Had heard from a few friends at different agencies that specialize in luxury cruise that it isn't selling well for them compared to Explora, Ritz, and Four Seasons/that they have had similar radio silence from OESY. Curious if that's isolated or more widespread.
I kinda get the fervor around the "do kids belong in business class" argument since it's such a confined space, but does it even matter as much on cruise lines? Oceania rolled out their no-kids policy at the top of the year, but I honestly haven't found it that big of a deal when little ones were on my Explora Journeys/Explora I cruise last November.
Seems like, based on the article, the launch of Allura is what got the ball rolling at Oceania. But why bother when Regent Seven Seas, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Crystal, Explora, and probably others set to debut aren't going this direction (for now)? Seems like a competitive disadvantage.
Virtuoso benefits allow clients to get access to the Poodle Room during a stay at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and I've heard AmEx does something similar. Does anyone know how widespread this perk is beyond Virtuoso and AmEx?
