Trying to play today and everytime I place a blueprint, my game starts lagging only at base. I thought I was building too fast originally but even trying to put just the map down makes the game unplayable. I'd love to know if I can fix this. (I play pc with the ethernet cable hooked in so I doubt its wifi related.)
Maybe its because I'm not super creative, but I'm pretty let down by how many items/materials you just can't paint. I feel like a game that encourages world building should have much more freedom with customization. I wanted to rebuild skylands but make it pink. The first annoying thing I see- the tile can be painted, but the grout stays yellow.. I had already been working for hours replacing it at night before I realized, so I just let it go. Then I want to paint the fire hydrants like a purple or cyan..and nope. Can't be painted. So then I'm like oh the recycling bins would be cute if they were a diff color...you're seeing the pattern. I finally just rage quit yesterday after crafting a bunch of store flooring before realizing that it can't be painted either. I guess its silly complaining after seeing everyones beautiful work, but damn I just wanna build a floating pink princess city and bring all my favorite pokemon to live with me.
