I'm thinking of buying this laptop and need honest suggestions.

Intel Core i5 8th Gen

256GB SSD

Price: ₹23,000

My main use will be:

Trading

Multiple browser tabs

Data science / coding (beginner level)

General productivity

Is this a good deal for ₹23k or should I look for something better at this price?

I started the IITM BS Foundation level in Jan 2024 (F2-2024). According to the policy, students must complete 6 courses within 6 terms.

I have completed:

English 1

English 2

Maths 1

Statistics 1

Computational Thinking

Pending:

Maths 2

Statistics 2

Python

Now my portal is showing: “Ineligible for Course Registration”

I already mailed support and explained my situation. I’m pursuing this program completely independently and I don’t have any backup option.

Has anyone faced a similar situation before? Did IITM allow any exception/appeal/manual approval?

I would really appreciate any guidance or advice.

PLEASE GUYS HELP ME, I'M DOING THIS STAND ALONE AND I DON'T HAVE ANY BACKUP OPTION.
