WIP Wednesday: Iron Monger II
It's been a slow process on this big bastard, but I'm hoping to finish up this week.

For huge models like this, I like to go section by section. Part of this is so I can see some actual progress day by day. Part of it is because the Ionic paints I use seem to dry quickly, and this lets me knock out an area without having to reload the palette.
A real quick and dirty time lapse video of how I painted Ultimate Spider-Man.
Finally had a chance to get these first five Cultists onto bases. Making my way through the Combat Patrol box a handful of minis at a time.
I've been working a lot of overtime lately, so painting has been going very slowly. Working on the gold trim now, then just have the white accents, sword, and base to go.
Working on the blast and WHACK! effects now, then just need to knock out the black trim and base.
This was a tough one for me. I had a bad run-in with some poison ivy this week, and it's covered my hands among other things. Between the sores and steroid cream used to treat them, brush control was a real challenge.
