I put in a request for flex pto for a shift in which I was scheduled from 6 am - 3 pm. I put in the request for 12 pm - 3 pm as at 12 my manager would come in and I wouldn’t be the only person working. I talked to my AM and he told me that should be fine. However after requesting it my GM ends up denying it and the reason stated was : “ Would negatively effect our business.”

Do any one else’s DM just tell you to go home early whenever it gets slow? Like even if I am scheduled until closing I will be told to go home 1-2 hours earlier just cause it dies down and theres nothing for us to do. Is that even allowed ?
