Anfänger sucht Piloten nähe/in Berlin

DXP4800 Plus which factory ddr5 ram is in there

Hey I plan to buy the DXP4800 Plus and saw a cheap 8 GB DDR5 RAM near my place on eBay. I cant find anything about which ram is exactly in that Urgreen device by factory. Maybe someone of you here can tell me the specs? 👀

The RAM I would buy is a Samsung PC5-5600B. Not sure but afaik you need to have similar rams.

Need help/tips for allow access to my Unraid Server

Hey! I've been running an Unraid server for almost two years now. I use Tailscale to access my server from outside, and it works perfectly for me.

However, I would like to run a Matrix server on it and for that, I need to open some ports. I would do this not only for Matrix but also for Nextcloud to share my Documents and Files with family and friends who don't have Tailscale installed on every device for example. Matrix will also be used only by Friends of mine. (which means I should be an unattraktive target, but you never know)

I know I should use a Reverse Proxy like NPM, which provides some security. Also, because thats the way how Unraid works, everything runs in Docker Containers and i would run Matrix on a separate Docker Network (does that even makes sense?). I read something that this could also be an additional Layer of Security.

I dont have the budget to setup a big firewall infront of my router like some of you do. The only Firewall I have will be my router and anything that Unraid does.

Is there anything I need to do to be more secure? How can I tell if someone has accessed my Server? Would it be better to use a "Factory" NAS (like the one from the company that starts with U that I am somehow not allowed to mention or Synology) instead of a "Old Optiplex" UnRAID Server, because of any security issues?

I hope you can help me here.

Anything Like YouTube Videos, Forum links or direct explanation would help. Thank you 🫶
