S26 Ultra Love-Hate Relationship 😅

I’ve been a long-term iPhone user. After my iPhone 16 Pro Max was stolen, I switched to the Nothing Phone 3a. After using Android for a while, I didn’t really like the iPhone 17 either, so I decided to upgrade to a flagship.

My first choice was the OnePlus 15 Pro, but I had doubts about OnePlus and Google Pixel. I got my girlfriend a Pixel, and honestly, the stock Android experience felt pretty underwhelming to me.

So, the obvious choice was the S26 Ultra.

I searched my entire city for the Silver Shadow color, but no shop had it. It had apparently been unavailable for almost a month. 😭

When I finally got the phone, I loved it. But after using it for a while, I started noticing little things that bothered me.

I have dry hands, so the fingerprint sensor can be a struggle. There’s no native App Lock, I wish Samsung had a better Dynamic Island-style live notification system, and even the screenshot experience isn’t quite what I expected.

None of these are deal-breakers, but when you use your phone every day, the little things add up. I’ve slowly developed a bit of a love-hate relationship with the S26 Ultra.

Now with One UI 9.5 supposedly coming next year, I’m curious:

What features do you guys want Samsung to add or improve?

Drop your expectations in the comments. Let’s discuss! 👇

Anyone mind sharing their AIOStreams + TorBox Instant setup?

Hey guys,

I've got AIOStreams with TorBox Instant set up, but I can't figure out the best configuration.

For movies, I'm only getting 4K results. I'm not getting any 1080p BluRay or 1080p WEB-DL options.

I'm trying to prioritize:

4K BluRay

1080p BluRay

4K WEB-DL

1080p WEB-DL

I am also avoiding Remux files

If anyone's got their setup working like this, I'd love to see how you've configured it.

Thanks!

Android TV Box

I recently bought a new Samsung TV and installed Nuvio, but TizenOS has been a pretty frustrating experience. I'm thinking of getting an Android TV box so I can stream high-bitrate 4K HDR remux files without the limitations.

I'm leaning toward the Xiaomi TV Box S (2nd Gen), but it only has 2GB of RAM. For those of you using Nuvio, is 2GB enough for smooth playback of 4K HDR remuxes, or should I spend more on a box with 4GB RAM instead? I'd appreciate any real-world recommendations.

Animestream

This add-on has debird and https stream and it works perfectly fine stremio but can anyone tell me why the https stream doesn't work on nuvio?

I don't remember if the debird worked or not tried that long time ago but I think debird or torbox works not just the https stream that's for sure

I’ve been testing Nuvio vs CloudStream with StreamPlay + TorrentinoTB (both using Torrentino + TorBox) and I think most comparisons miss the real point — the device matters more than the app.

Here’s what I’ve found:

Mobile (where I use it the most):

Nuvio feels overcomplicated AIO metadata setup is a hassle even if you know what you’re doing UI gets cluttered (movies/series separation makes browsing worse on a small screen)

CloudStream + StreamPlay + TorrentinoTB feels more practical Cleaner layout Fewer but more relevant streams Faster to actually hit play

TV:

Nuvio is just better here UI feels made for remote navigation Cleaner browsing from a distance More “Netflix-like” experience

CloudStream (even with StreamPlay) feels like a mobile UI stretched onto TV Too many options Slower to navigate with a remote
