Logging food has become such a chore (IOS)

I use the Fitbit app mostly to log activity and food.

Logging food used to be so easy. If it wasn’t in the drop list of foods, easy lookup or add a Custom.

Logging food has become such a chore I am about to give up. I eat a lot of foods constantly, almost every day I have a banana. My “Frequent foods” no longer has “banana”. I have to use the What did you eat list.

Today, I splurged and had a Chick-fil-A sandwich, it was in the “Look up Database” before however today, Chick-fil-A in the “What did you eat” has only 2 entries. 🤯

It might be time to throw in the towel. I am aware of other tracking apps, it seems counterproductive to have a device and then use some other app. I am unwilling to pay for the Service.

Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

IOS app icon Long Press issues

So, since the Google replaced the Fitbit app with Google Health, Long Press on the app brings up aa app context menu where I could easily enter my weight. After the lasted update (5.02) the Long Press is sporadic.

Today it didn’t work, I shutdown and rebooted my iPhone and it worked once.

It was a convenient way to enter my weight first thing in the morning.

Google, Please properly check the app and make sure when you attempt to fix something in the app you don’t break an existing feature.
