From Shooting Star to Falling Star and Marley Attempt

You may be able to hear my teacher Studio Veena in the background. Coaching me through my moves since March. I started in January, with a strong history of competitive gymnastics and weightlifting consistently as an adult. However; I’m far from the most flexible or graceful person, so the dancing aspect has sent me, but Beens has definitely given me a ton of safe dismounts that are semi-cute (cute on her semi on me until I up the gracefulness hehe).

I realized my shoulder strength is stopping me from more difficult loves. Abs, fine, back doing well, glutes and legs, great, but my shoulders need serious help! And more than just the body weight warm-ups, I need some real help so I can use my shoulders for moves like Ayesha, shoulder mount (which I can only do from a knee bent position) and handspring.

Any tips for workouts for bigger/stronger shoulders ladies and gents?

TYIA!!

Community Vibe

Just know that although I’m NOT a surgeon, I treat my work in aesthetics with the same precision, safety and care that a surgeon would. It’s your face, and even though it’s a non-surgical intervention - to me it’s JUST AS important if not more important than actual cosmetic surgery. PS: I take this specialty very serious!

We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing and connecting.
