Personally,I don't think so. Yes Jax is abusive to Gangle but I don't think he would be with Pomni.

A. Pomni can and will fight back! This is not me blaming Gangle there's no excuse for Jax's actions against her. Gangle in the show is very dormant; Pomni on the other hand will call out, stand up to you, and has no problem being physical to you.

B. Gangle Goose confirms that Jax vents his feelings on his mother on Gangle. Jax would not do this to Pomni.

Depending on when Jax comes back from his, it's abstraction. They won't try to push people away to not like them and he won't tell himself that this dosent matter or real. Which he has use to escuse his bullying and abuse.

C the relationship way more equal. While Jax did come to Pomni. Pomni only talks to Jax when he was not being a jerk and is more open. Compare to Gangle where Jax basically took control on day one.

D. He respects Pomni,when Pomni asks him to do something he will do it.

Bottom line, Jax and Pomni's relationship is healthier, and if they did become a couple. It would be a healthy one.

I have no problem with people hating Jax and liking Caine. What I noticed is that some fans will vilify Jax and defend Caine's actions.

Saying that Caine was an AI and he didn't know better. Or vilify the cast for showing sympathy for Jax but not him. Ignoring that both have two different circumstances. Jax was a human who was trapped like the cast.

Caine was the ringmaster and the one who ran the circus in the first place.

While Caine was abandoned. He was not doing these things to keep the circus members truly happy. He was doing this to mainly make himself happy.

That's why he was scared about the suggestion box adventures. He thought they would like their ideas instead of his. Caine treated the circus members as audience not people.

He never truly got to know them until after his return. He is actually treating them as equals. He participating with them in life. Something he didn't do before.

Abstracted Jax can eat.

Can wiggle

Develops a more bunny-like shape over time.

Pomni can touch and hug them with no glitches.

Everyone visits them and hangs out with them.

Abstracted Jax looks ashamed at first and looks away. Over time, though, they get over their shame and look happy to see visitors.

Pomni sometimes still can visit them in their head. To see Jax whose mindscape is like a park with stars. They talk and hang out on a bench. Until Pomni goes back.

There have been a lot of discussions, I am not defending actual transphobia, there is a take I am seeing way too much. That the Jax's trans hints were fine. You were just Cis or lack media literacy.

Ignoring that they were also LGBT people who were surprised by the reveal as well.

SO the take is a straw man and not being nuanced.

The problem wasn't that there were no hints. The problem the hints were way too vague, either could fit any other interpretation, or something that only you would pick up if you were in certain online circles.

A lot of people tried to say look at the maid's dress. The problem with this is that a lot of men with insecurity would hate and be angry about dressing and even be flustered.

Then the pink room, Jax has a girly room. The thing is the rooms can have things they dislike. Pomni's room has toys even though she hates being looked at as a child. Zooble has a room with a lot of mirrors in it. Guys can also like girly things and like pink, and be ashamed of it because of fear.

Toxic masculinity and insecurity are common among cis guys. People groups can have similar experiences.

The show in my opinion, never did a good job specifically hinting that Jax had dysphoria in the show. I think that was the main issue.

You could have Jax say he really dislikes his avatar with Pomni or show he dislikes it in private. You can have Jax admire a dress secretly. You could have Jax hate-looking at the mirrors or being photographed. There were so many ways to build this up more or make it clearer to the audience

Even with the finale, they could have had Leroy go by she/her pronouns. By making Leroy a boymoder( which Goose her self admit it was foolish for her to expect more people to know what that was), it probably did greatlly confused the audience.

No you did not need Leeroy to wave a trans flag or Jaxs saying " I'm trans in the camera to confirm. But the reveal and build-up could have been handled way better. At this time, a person is watching the show with no social media. More than likely would not pick up that Jax is a trans woman at the end of the show.

Some people are replying that like subility and that is understandable. The part I disagree with. Was it only meant for transgender people or was the show not meant for a general audience? I think this take is verry flawed and thier few issues with it.

TADC has never been promoted or marketed as an lgbt show. Goosework has never said that the primary audience for it was lgbt and never treated as such.

The show does have lgbt characters and there lgbt themes. That's not the main focus of the show.

Also, Gooseworx never said the reason she was subtle was only for lgbt auidience members to understand Jax being trans. It seems like she wanted more people to pick up on it. Due to her boymoder comment.

When we see Lee, life update. We see Pomni with tears in her eyes and about to cry. Its really is heartbreaking.

Pomni witnesses Jax singing a terrible reprise of Caine's song. Which somehow makes his singing voice sound like a cat scratching the floor.

Pomni was not scared, just shaking her head sadly that her friend had just lost their mind.

Basically, at episode 9 ( I wil be using he/,him for Jax)

So basically in episode 9 the circus was unstabled.The soma reveal unlike cannon made everyone depression longer.

This made Kinger feel verry guility and he isolate hinself for a secreate project. A few days latter they found an abstracted Kinger.

Abstracted Kinger accidently fell in one of the holes that lead to the void. Which made everyone even more distraught.

Jax was going to abstract alone. Pomni realize this and hug them. Begin breaking down saying that she cant loose anymore of her friends.

That makes Jax realise if they abstract right now. That would push Pomni into abstracting too. Which something he didnt want at all. He decided not to abstract for Pomni and the rest sake. Not want anyone else to be lead to an early grave.

Jax found Kingers computer and saw that Kinger secreate project was making an ai that could replace Caine. It would stabilized the circus and make sure the needs,and wants for everyone was taken care of. It seem all set and all they need to say Yes. Jax follow acordingly.

The program started to run,but the program was not just creating a new ai. It was program to have one of the humans become the new ai.

Kinger was going to be the new ringmaster,but his sudden abstraction stop it. Now since Jax was the one who said yes he is the new ringmaster.

The circus had light and corlor again. But now the corlors were darker and shades of black,purple,and green . The circus was fixed. Everything look more edgier now.

Everyone look concern and shock.

Finally Jax appear with a unstable grin. He was wearing a gothic suit. Welcome ,Ladies and nonbinary to the Jax show.

I know this is verry weird premise. My the idea is the characters keep trying to talk with ringmaster Jax,and tried to undoo this. Only for Jax to deflect and hide behind the helpful ringmaster mask. Jax also try his/her best to give the circus members anything they asked for.

A lot of people say that reason Jax abstracted was avoid consequences.I am like what consequences? Kafumo was not his fault.

His abuse of Gangled? Gangled is not even trying to get the others to confront him. Its verry telling that Zooble who know his knows effect on Gangle still saying he was one them in episode 8.
He even says in his lampost scene. No one was supposed to care or missed him he was gone.

Its verry clear that Jax hated himself and did feel guility on what the things he did.He never says he wants release from the pain. That the reason he abstract.

There has been a discussion that the main difference is that Caine changed, and Jax didn't.

I personally disagree with this.

Caine did not change because he had a change of heart in the circus. He changed after he was deleted! Now don't get me wrong dire circumstances can lead to repentance and change. If Caine wasn't deleted he probably would still be tormenting the circus members.

I understand that Caine has abandonment issues and is AI. I understand he is partly acting out of fear and hurt. Just that his road to change was because he was deleted.Not that because he had a change of heart in the circus, or trying to understand circus members.

As for Jax, while I say it's his own fault for abstracting. I do believe that if Pomni did save him. He would have changed, Antone, and had a redemption arc.

The main difference , is that one had a chance to cheat death and the other didn't. So narratively, it comes off as awkward.

Like, I want Jax to atone,but atone you have to change first. In my half abstracting au. After Pomni save hims. He is still not well ,it takes time to work his issues.He wont be a jerk,and he does apologize to the others.

For him, atoning would be later in the fic. Making it up to people. At first, his issues are still bad. He is dealing with self-hatred, trust issues,and depression.

I am going to say with the main character debate. They could have done a better job establishing that Jax was the second main character in the beginning at the same time when it was clear that Jax is one of the protagonists of the series. Fans who did not like it. Should then decide whether they continue to watch it.

In stories characters are tools to tell the story you want to tell. Some characters are just meant to be supporting and some are meant to be more significant.

Zooble, Kinger, and Gangle were fine supporting ones. The only thing in episode 9 is that Soma reveals. Should have been expanded on and their feelings on that matter. With more scenes of them accepting it.

Ragatha I do think we did need a couple more scenes with her. To make it clearer that she,and Pomni were close. Personally, I don't think Ragatha would make a good second protagonist to Pomni.For what the show is.

For Jax, in my opinion, from a story perspective, you need someone like him. You kinda need a character that has a very terrible coping mechanism or ideal. Showing how this ideal, and view point dosent work.

A lot of people ask about Kafumo since he was going to be one of the original main characters. But the thing is Kafumo was always going to abstract early it was episode 3. He was also going to have a similar arc to Jax. So we were always going to have a character similar to Jax. I don't think this alternative would have been better story-wise.

I feel like this good anaylis on Jax. His effect on Gangle, his feelings ,what morals he does have,and what was thoes fantasy scenes are supposed to mean.I think everyone on love or hate Jax will like this video ^^.
