same as title. i am just collecting some data

i have a friend, he doesn't use reddit, on behalf of him, i am asking a question. can he change branch from Chemical to DSE or EECS after first year if he maintains CPI? or does iiser do not allow for branch change in B.tech ?

so i gave IAT and filled Only B.tech branches in my prefernce, with 160(might be less) marks in iat and CRL 13XX, i got B.tech EECS in IISER bhopal. treated it as a backup if i didn't get anything through CSAB. now withdrew out of IISER bhopal, will only get 25k refund sadly🥀.

I want to know what did JEEtards of this sub get in CSAB round 2? Comment below 👇

my doubt is, i gave 35K .Rs as SAF, 25K .Rs would be refunded. i know that 10K is not directly refundable, but the guidelines say that it depends on the iisers to refund that 10k. so my question is, can i get those 10k rs refund if i mail them? or call helpline number? did anyone ever got a 10k refund?

idk about others, but 10k is not a small amount for me, can literally increase my laptop budget.
