We have

5 oper bowlers in this lineup and batting till 8-9. Pure firepower at top 3 and stable middle order. If we want only 6 proper bowlers then shadhank can go and move every one above we still get batting till 8-9. Btw even shadhank can get us 2 overs and cooper will be bowling by then ​

Shedge & owen can also get us one 1-2 overs

Names I have in my mind are

1). Ravi Ashwin The reason is because I think he still have some soft corner for punjab in his heart and we all know how good game awareness and ability to find domestic talents he has. I really think he’s a good person to be a great coach. Also he has previously worked with Ponting

2). Samuel badree Sam has worked in Delhi along with ponting and had great success over the years in Delhi.

3) Amit Mishra He has worked with ponting too but I don’t really think he can be a great coach idk why…

There are plenty of domestic options too

I still wonder why ponting did not even bid for starc , hazelwood , boult. We could’ve gotten much worthy players instead of 18CR of Chahal and 11CR of stoinis

Before starting , this isn’t something new or I haven’t seen any other post of him from other sources but I have been keen for punter to get him last auction too. I was regularly commenting money Grewal as a pacer before the auction

He’s a 25yo 6’2 right arm fast bowler comes from Delhi who can clock 140 consistently and his specialty are sharp bouncer and somewhat a bit of yorkers. (He isn’t a death specialist but ofc one can be coached how to be)

Had a wonderful Delhi premier league 20 wickets from 14games eco of 7-8 including a 5 wicket haul and a hatrick. Had a FC debut , played 8 matches and took 22 wickets……stats aren’t too good nor too bad…Will see how he’ll do for Delhi in SMAT this time

I haven’t seen much of his games cuz I was busy during dpl. He comes from Delhi , teammate with arya . Previously was net bowler for DC under punter too and for rcb too (iirc he even troubled cam green and Kohli with his bouncers when he was their net bowler).. have anyone watched him too ?

Look there won’t be any big named bowler in auction this year so team will have to scout someone really good like lsg did prince and SRH did.
