Hi, i got the job

i'm starting my internship in september. it's gonna last 6 months.

i'm thrilled but nervous: i'm scared at the end of the 6 months they're gonna leave me at home. they said this opportunity is made to be hired, but i am so scared they will eventually not.

does anybody have any experience with this? do they seriously convert internships into contracts or not?
