r/fired for buns from chick fil a
I work at chick fil a and have been for a year and a half now… I forgot to add a white bun to my employee order twice. (Got comfortable with forgetting because I thought everyone was chill there and I also seen managers let them save breakfast/lunch items.. and before breakfast is even over too) and I’m not sure if someone snitched or they went fishing but long story short I got terminated for “food thief”. Mind you I tried to get my vacation hours out the way and requested a week before this and they had ignored it all week, but were accepting my shift drops for people , because I was planning on leaving to a new chick fil a so of course I was trying to get my pay out from vacation before I left… and honestly.. I don’t want to sound full of myself and say they did this out of pettiness but also I think someone maybe seen me and snitched… mind you im 23 yrs old… a 30yr woman has made work for me so draining the past year and a half.. who hates me and I’m not sure why. but long story short… is it possible some chick fil as don’t handle situations in the best way? Or is it just the choice of directors and gms and also managers? I just wish I didn’t let myself get comfortable with people there because this is how it turned out for me, I guess i can say people are highly favored when it comes to some jobs.
