so far ive had 10+ interactions in less than a week, and i’ve only gotten dms to trade myself for money, or to click scam links or cash a bunch of random fake cheques.

posting the last scam because im genuinely fed up.

im 23, im homeless squatting in the back of a building, may have just survived a suicide attempt a week ago, - but i dont hate myself enough that im going to live with you creepy ass reddit men or get scammed.

“I know when we get into housing eventually and you heal in 6-12 months and go back to work at a 4k / month job you’re going to cheat and leave.”

he says “okay then”

i say “you cant even tell me its not true?”

he said “well im not a fucking mind reader i cant see the future, im not going to sit here and give you false hope”

HE CANT EVEN TELL ME AFTER BUYING HIM A CAR AND CHOOSING TO BE HOMELESS ORIGINALLY AND RACKING UP 22K IN DEBT TO BE WITH HIM AND TAKE CARE OF HIM, THAT HE WONT CHEAT AND LEAVE THE SECOND HE GETS TO GO BACK TO WORK AND CAN GET HIS OWN PLACE.

Attempted suicide and barely made it last weekend. I’m right back there again. I don’t know how anyone keeps getting through.
I’m really close to losing it.

applying to work for months, hundreds of applications - trying to resell its slow and no money just stock in my car. NOT ASKING FOR MONEY. ONLY ASKING FOR ADVICE ON HOW TO MAKE CASH FAST - HOW TO POST FOR ODD JOBS ETC

call not to ask for anything, usually never do, just wanted to talk and have him say he loved me and some emotional reassurance, thats all.

proceeds to tell me he has his own financial problems (he owns 3 properties and goes on vacation 1.5 months of the year to another country & 6 pets & eats expensive meals all the time, lives on the lake) - and that he has his own health issues.

hung up on me when i was in hospital, doctor said i might not make it (i did im ok now) told me im too much for him call another day. tells me all about his issues never shows up for mine.

all i wanted was some kind words and maybe a hug.

and he wonders why im so angry.

Questions:

1. save for a camper to live in or an apartment
2. everything i need to survive in a tent in canadian woods for 2-4 months

Context:
23F & 26M, no family support, one of us is physically disabled after a work injury, waited 1 year for surgery now had it 9 days ago, financial aid ran out, other lost job for 8 months finally got a new one last week but not enough to pay our bills & all the debt we accumulated paying to live on our credit card.

we’re in the car, going to get camping supplies as it’s warming up in Canada and stay in a tent. We’ve been homeless about half of the 8 months, in the car, so we have a portable stove and ideas of getting by on minimal food for the maximum nutritional value and calories we can.

1 bedroom here is usually first months & last months & sometimes an additional deposit, averaging $1500 on the low end to $2000 mid range monthly.

its going to be months before i can save enough to get us into an actual bed.
